Icon Resources
Skylight includes built-in icon resources that can be set directly through Application Builder or referenced within application scripts.
Deprecation Warning
Icons as a
resource
will be deprecated in the platform once the icon card type is fully supported across the clients. Use name
based icons (sometimes referred to as glyphs) wherever possible to future proof applications. Text card types will continue to support icons as a resource
for some time, but the ability to add them will be removed from Application Builder.
In Application Builder, an icon can be added to a card by enabling the Icon property and then selecting the icon and color. You may select any available media to use for the icon.
Note that the icon images shown here are a representation of an icon; the actual rendered image may vary slightly, but the concept is the same. Shape or color may be slightly different.

An icon's resource name can be found in the application builder by setting the Icon property on any card and then looking at the Icon's data bind.

Open the data bind editor for Icon
